The event opened with a formal three-course meal. On the menu was a “Trump organic field green salad,” followed by filet mignon and pan-seared halibut with mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley. Dessert was a lava cake. While this may sound refined on paper, Pinto described the dishes in unflattering terms. 

“The only good part was the bread and the butter,” he told Fortune, before calling the filet mignon “trash,” comparing it to a “Walmart steak.”

Pinto, who has 2.6 million Instagram followers and a reputation for viral antics, wasn’t the only one disappointed. Several attendees noted that the food was mediocre at best, with some calling it the “worst food they ever had at a Trump property.”

The 25-year-old influencer’s attendance was anything but quiet. Prior to the event, he spray-painted his luxury Mercedes-Benz SUV with the TRUMP token ticker before opting instead to arrive in his Lamborghini. 

Pinto’s enthusiasm was undeniable. However, once inside, he found more reasons to criticize than celebrate.

He had hoped for something more in line with Trump’s known fast-food preferences. “I was hoping for either Big Macs or pizza,” he said. “That would have been better than the food that we were served.”

His disappointment didn’t stop at the cuisine. He also described Trump’s speech as “pretty much like bullshit,” criticizing the short address for lacking substance and energy. 

According to Pinto, Trump simply read from a script, vaguely praising crypto without offering any new vision. “You believe in the whole crypto thing… it may be special,” Trump said during the event.

No Real Access to Trump?

Despite the hefty price tag and promotional promises, many of the guests did not receive any personal interaction with Trump. Pinto noted that even Caitlin Sinclair, who hosted the event, did not get a photo with the president. “Trump didn’t even give me a picture,” she reportedly told Pinto.

For attendees, the expectation was a chance to mingle with Trump in a more intimate setting. Instead, he delivered a brief speech and left shortly afterward, skipping personal engagements and watching presentations that had been teased prior.
