U.S. Bank has completed a live cross-border treasury pilot using its USBDC stablecoin on the Stellar blockchain. Announced on 9 September 2026, the transaction connected the bank's North American and European entities and tested minting, transferring, redeeming, freezing and clawing back tokens.
